Dr. Kelly Harper joined Companion Animal Hospital of Wakefield in spring of 2010. She earned her B.S. in Laboratory Animal Science from Delaware Valley College of Science & Agriculture in 1992 and her Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine from Virginia-Maryland Regional College of Veterinary Medicine in 1997. Dr. Harper brought with her more than 11 years of clinical practice, and has a solid background in internal medicine and surgery.
Dr. Harper and her family relocated to Raleigh in 2008 after having lived abroad in Switzerland for several years. Aside from her professional duties, Dr. Harper’s most important and rewarding job is being mom to her two daughters.
In her spare time, Dr. Harper most enjoys spending time with her family, traveling and cheering on her alma mater Virginia Tech. Go HOKIES!!!
